Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Scholarship Schemes
India is well known as an education hub attracting international students from all over the world. India’s robust education system, in the backdrop of its rich diversity and vibrant culture & history, affords a broad range of options for students. And as a rapidly growing country with a leading technological edge, studying in India has much to offer, whether it is Engineering, Computers, Arts, Philosophy, Political Sciences or Classics etc. In this context, Consulate General of India in Istanbul is pleased to inform you that the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has announced the launch of its Scholarship Programmes for the academic year 2026-27.
2. ICCR administers various scholarship programs annually and awards more than 3000 scholarships under 21 different schemes to foreign students from about 180 countries. The courses offered for studies are for Under-graduation, Post-graduation, and Ph.D. levels. Each academic year, ICCR has about 6000+ of its foreign scholars who are studying at various Central/State Universities, Institutes, NITs, and Agricultural Institutions etc.
3. ICCR’s A2A (Admissions to Alumni) online portal will be open from 27 February to 15 April 2026 (https://a2ascholarships.iccr.
4. The ICCR Scholarship Programmes offer an excellent opportunity for international students to pursue higher education in India and further strengthen academic and people-to-people linkages between our institutions. Esteemed institutions in Turkiye may like to see the available scholarship slots and encourage eligible candidates to utilize this opportunity.
