Advisory for Indian Nationals travelling to India by Non-Scheduled Air-India Commercial flight from Istanbul on 8th June 2020.


      1    Air India will be operating a non-scheduled commercial flight from Istanbul to Delhi on 8th June 2020.

    2.   Indians who wish to travel on this flight and have not yet registered themselves with the Embassy/Consulate may kindly contact Mr. Sanjay Kumar Bhardwaj at +905446754668/ cons.istanbul@mea.gov.in .

    3.   Since the number of seats on the flights would be limited, passengers with the compelling cases such as those facing medical emergencies or requiring return due to bereavement in the family, students, pregnant women, elderly, tourists and those facing expiry of visas will be given priority.

  4.   The cost of travel from Istanbul to Delhi will be borne by the passenger. The Embassy/Consulates will share the details of passengers identified with Air India Offices that will contact them directly regarding booking of tickets and mode of payment.

    5.   All passengers will be required to undergo thermal screening before boarding the flight and only asymptomatic passengers will be allowed to travel.
6.   All passengers on arrival in India will be medically screened and would have to download and register on Arogya Setu app.
7.   All passengers would be required to undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days as per the latest guidelines by ministry of Health and Family Welfare-India.
8.    All passengers will have to follow the protocols and procedures including Health Protocols issued by the Government of the Turkey and by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Civil Aviation and other concerned authorities of Government of India- before, during the journey and on arrival in India.
